Kigass Aero Components are a long-established family engineering company based in Warwick, supplying high value machined parts and assemblies for the Aerospace and Autosport sectors. Kigass have an engineering team to take customer drawings, and, using CAD/CAM, programme our range of modern CNC machines to produce customer designs. Using our range of 3 to 5 axis machining centres we specialise in the manufacture of components from solid avoiding prohibitive lead times for forged and cast parts. We have 2 to 7 axis CNC turning, CNC EDM and wire erosion, gun drilling, surface and CNC cylindrical grinding. Test house facility for fuel, oil, water and air flow checks, calibration and pressure testing.

2 Vacancies

You will complete your training at the Manufacturing Technology Centre and will be enrolled onto their Level 3 Machining Apprenticeship, on a block release basis. The programme will develop your fundamental engineering skills, that you will need in your development at Kigass. In your role, you will be get exposure to the following areas at:

  • Tool Room
  • CNC 3 and 5 Axis turning and milling machines
  • *Test house
  • *Inspection
  • *Engineering department
  • *Despatch
  •  CNC and Manual Grinding machines

Your apprenticeship will last 36 months, which you will complete at the MTC on a block release basis. Following the completion of your Level 3 EAL Knowledge Diploma, you will be expected to complete an End Point Assessment, to ensure your competence.

Candidate skills and qualities required:

Grade 6 or above in English and Mathematics

Individuals who have an interest of working with and repairing mechanical items would be viewed favourably.

You will be expected to travel to MTC in Ansty Park (Coventry) and our premises in Warwick.
