On the job training will be provided, working with a mentor and being given access to each area of the manufacturing process during the apprenticeship. You will be working on the very latest technology after a recent 2 million pound investment.

  • Must be able to complete an apprenticeship framework within Engineering.
  • Setting, operating, and programming CNC milling and CNC Turning machines to include 5 and multi-axis machines.
  • Learn machining principles.
  • Learn inspection techniques.
  • Using various measuring equipment to dimensionally measure components (CMM inspection and manual measuring tools and techniques).
  • Responsible for producing high precision Aircraft components.
  • Learn Continuous Improvement techniques 5S, SPC & TPM. And problem solving.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety responsibilities.

Qualifications
