Jeff is an experienced voice of change in the education sector, having started his career as a teacher in the South Wales Valleys. He left the classroom to work with the Welsh government, spending seven years building the Welsh national curriculum in languages and supporting and coaching trainee teachers to embrace a more interactive and practical way of teaching languages.
He then turned his focus to vocational subjects, developing qualifications supporting workforce mobilisation, before spending 15 years at the University for Industry (now Learndirect), developing online training delivery models across the UK in the early days of the internet.
After supporting and coaching senior leaders through his own business, Ariege, Jeff is now Director of Diversity and Governance at the Association of Colleges. He also shares his vast expertise on several boards, including the Learning and Work Institute Wales, Groundwork Wales, Ballet Cymru and of course, MTC Training.
