We are very proud of our Midlands base at the AMTC and as part of our dedication to the local area, the MTC apprentices recently spent time away from the training centre to take part in a number of community initiatives.
The cohort spent two weeks on projects at Draycote Water and Coombe Abbey, where they were put through their paces with tasks which included path making, tending to nature areas and supporting with general building and assembly work.
During the two-week period, apprentices were also given the opportunity to take part in Business Improvement Techniques training at the AMTC, to support their wider learning and study.
“The community project work is always popular with our apprentices and it provides a great opportunity for them to learn new skills, take on challenges and work together in a different environment. Feedback from the project staff was very positive and we’re proud to continue to support our local community.”
