Operating in the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering sector, means producing complex, highly precise machined components. You will be expected to learn how to manufacture items from specialist materials, using both conventional and multi axis CNC machine tools. During your apprenticeship, we will invest our time in you to teach you turning, milling, grinding and finishing in secondary operations. We aim to ensure you have been adequately trained to be producing components to the required standards.

While on site they would be assigned a mentor/s who would guide them through all processes applicable to their training requirements. Very much a hands-on approach under supervision, covering mechanical and machining based engineering.

Apprentices can bring fresh ideas to the organisation. Through their training at MTC, they will contribute and inform others of new engineering technologies and processes.
