Vacancy location 4 Kelvin Park, Wallasey, Birkenhead, CH41 1LT
Training location MTC Liverpool, 131 Mount Pleasant, Liverpool, L3 5TF
Working week 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday hours
Wage Minimum wage for year 1 apprentice
Expected duration 12 - 15 months

  • Production of CNC products. Milling and turning.
  • Will require handling and lifting of some heavy materials.
  • Packaging of produced CNC customer orders through to dispatch.
  • Sign fabrication using various hand tools.
  • Operating state of the art digital machinery. 

On completion the natural progression would be to enrol onto a level 3-4 in mechanical engineering

MTC Training eligibility: 5 GCSEs grades 2+ (or equivalent) including Maths and English Language or English Literature
